Join us EVERY Wednesday for a morning hike. Explore the beauty that Colorado has to offer. These hikes are geared to introduce you to the majestic tranquility of our local open spaces, trails and parks in a fun and friendly environment. Each hike will be at a different location. Most trails are easy to moderate. Distances vary but all hikes are less than 6.5 miles with mild elevation gain.Most trails are pet friendly but be sure to always check the schedule.
Bring a lunch for a picnic after the trail and enjoy some time in the great outdoors.

Meet at trailhead 8:00a.m. off of 83. Dogs on leash.
Meet at Rhyolite Parking lot under pavillion 8a.m. Dogs on leash. 2.9 mile loop
Rimrock Trail 2.2 miles. Depart from The Castle Rock Recreation Center at 7a.m. If you meet us at Trailhead there is a $7 park entry fee. This trail is easiest to get to from East Park Entrance.please look at link for terrain. We will begin hike a 8a.m. No Dogs
Philip S. Miller Park
8:00 a.m .Parking Lot near the Steps on hill, Dogs on leash
We will meet at the Castle Rock Recreation Center and ride in the passenger van. Depart at 7:30 a.m. Beautiful 1.5 miles of trail. No Dogs
Roxborough State Park
Fountian Valley Trail. Meet at The Castle Rock Recreation Center 7:30 a.m. 2.7 mile loop kid friendly.
Maxwell Falls Lower Trail
Leave from The Castle Rock Recreation Center at 7:30 a.m. This hike is near Evergreen along a river with waterfall. Dogs on leash. Please check website for terrain this is a 4 mile hike.
